How to Contribute

First of all, we would like to welcome you to the In-Portal Community! We are always excited to see new members join and we are looking forward to working with you! With the In-Portal Community growing every day, we are confident that you will find your participation a rewarding and a stimulating experience!

Register as a Contributor

If you haven’t done so, please join us by registering. Opening a member account will allow you to communicate with other members of the Community, participate in various activities, receive automatic updates, as well as enjoy many other member benefits. There are some functional areas of the website that require having a user account and your centralized account will allow you to participate in all of them. Just make sure to set your membership status to Contributor (under Community Settings) once you register.

Follow Your Interests

The best way to decide how you can contribute is by looking into the areas that interest you the most. If you crave finding bugs – there is a team for that. If you like to program – consider joining the Research & Development effort. If you a have a passion for design – perhaps you can design a new theme for In-Portal. If you like to help others, know several languages, like to write, or have experience in marketing – you can always find something to contribute that will be both fun for you and useful for the Community.

Share Your Strengths

If you consider yourself an expert in a certain field, please share your experience with the Community! In-Portal Community consists of seasoned professionals in many respective fields and always welcomes new members regardless of their strengths or level of experience. It is a good way for everyone to share their strengths as well as to pick up some new expertise!

Explore and Discover

You don’t necessarily need to have the skills (although a basic understanding will help) in order to participate. In fact, many members discover new interests and acquire new skills by participating in areas that are completely new to them. Feel free to join other groups to explore new interests and learn new skills!

Join Teams

Once you have narrowed down to the areas that interest you, please make sure to join the corresponding teams. Each team has its own purpose as well as an area of functional expertise so make sure you understand what each team’s responsibilities are.

Spread the Word

One of the best ways that you can help contribute to the growth of the Community regardless of your interests or fields of expertise, is by helping spread the word about In-Portal. Make sure to invite your friends, coworkers, family and others to check out In-Portal.
